I have no experience in springback prediction, and have no idea whether my prediction is reasonable. Do you have any idea how accurate the solution could be from LSDYNA?
Even though the accuracy varies with different forming condition, it
has been found that LSDYNA3D can be used to predict a reasonable
springback solution. This function has been tested extensively using
many benchmark problems and some production jobs.
When proper parameters are used in the springback prediction.
Usually this accuracy will fall within the range of 75% ~ 85% for most
of the drawing process. It is not unusual to get results with 90% to
95% accuracy. The error increases as the radii and tool gap decrease.
The accuracy also varies with different materials and pressure. It has
been found that the springback prediction from LSDYNA usually
underestimates the actual springback amount from the experimental
measurements.v
