Edge-to-edge contact can be treated in LS-DYNA via the following three contact types:

*CONTACT_SINGLE_EDGE

*CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_GENERAL

*CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_SINGLE_SURFACE with SOFT=2 and DEPTH=5
