Anisotropic plasticity models

Anisotropic plasticity models are generally reserved for sheet metal stamping simulations using shells, e. g., *MAT_36 or *MAT_37. *Mat_103 can be used with shells or solids. *Mat_103_P is a simplified *MAT_103 for shells only. *Mat_157 (new in LS-DYNA 971) combines *MAT_103_P and *MAT_002 and is for shells only.

Other material models for metal stamping: *MAT_33, *MAT_42, *MAT_39 (same as *MAT_37 with FLD).

*MAT_54 (shells only) or *MAT_59 (shells or solids) might be used if plasticity in composites was to be considered.
